All signs pointed to overcoming his obstacles

John Morley was stricken with polio as a child, but never let it hold him back. He took his mother's words to heart and tried everything that he wanted to do and that other children were doing, including climbing trees. That attitude has helped him succeed in life, and today the Santee signmaker and Chamber of Commerce president is doing just fine.
