Julie Nichols has rowed her way into the London Olympics in the double lightweight sculls class. Though she's fit and strong, the former Cal standout has used her analytical tools as much as her muscle to become one of the world's best -- not a surprise considering she has degrees in chemical engineering and mechanical engineering and hopes to pursue her doctorate.
