Pete Kostelnick's analytical mind and 200-mile weeks have carried him to another Badwater title and a shot at the cross-USA running record

Until a few years ago, there was nothing in Pete Kostelnick's running resume that indicated he might be a future ultra running star. But back-to-back victories in the 135-mile Badwater ultra marathon in Death Valley have changed all that. Now Kostelnick is attempting to break the decades-long record for running across the U.S., of 46 days.
