Pete Kostelnick on the verge of shattering 36-year-old record for fastest crossing of the United States

Back in 1980, Frank Giannino Jr. ran across the U.S. in a little over 46 days. Since then, many have tried to break that mark, but came up short. Now Pete Kostelnick, an ultra runner in his prime, is almost to New York and on track to come in at 44-45 days.
