Keeping core muscles strong and flexible can be a recipe for maintaining overall fitness and flexibility

Core strength is often an overlooked element of fitness. Yet maintaining strength and flexibility in the core -- abdominals, lower back, glutes, hips, etc. -- can be important for balance, back health and being able to do the things you want to do as you age.
