Darren Bennett led the way, become the first former Aussie rules player to make it in the NFL as a punter. Bennett, an All-Pro, spawned a wave from Down Under of athletes trying to make it in college or pro football. Inevitably, many wind up staying at the Hotel Bennett, the home Darren and his wife, Rosemary, open to them.
