Former alpine skier John Teller has flourished in new sport of skicross and ranks as best U.S. hope for a medal in Sochi

John Teller, who grew up skiing on Mammoth Mountain in California, tried for years to make the U.S. alpine ski team. After eventually giving up and going to work fulltime as an auto mechanic, a friend introduced him to skicross ... and Teller was hooked on it. Now, Teller is the best skicross racer in the U.S. and a strong medal contender at the Winter Olympics in Sochi in 2014. My story on Teller for TeamUSA.org, the U.S. Olympic website: http://www.teamusa.org/News/2013/January/01/Go-For-The-Gold-Home/Go-For-The-Gold-John-Teller
