Kortney Clemons was an Army combat medic in Iraq when he lost most of his right leg to an IED explosion while helping fellow troops. Nothing has stopped him from making the most of his life, however, as he's written a book, earned his bachelor's and master's degrees and is now trying to make the 2012 London Paralympic team after just missing out on going to Beijing in 2008.
