Robin Fox has been studying Escondido's history for many years. Now the education coordinator at the Escondido History Center, Fox says her studies of past people and events often make her wish she could venture into the past to discover the answers to many of her questions. For instance, there's an old black-and-white photo above her desk of the city's first librarian that makes her want to know more about the young woman's life.
