At Wisconsin-Whitewater, the Warhawks have become a national Div. III football powerhouse. The reason? U-Dub-Dub even tackles big rocks in practice
It's hard to achieve excellence at anything, and college football is no exception. But since Lance Leipold took over the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football program in 2007, the Warhawks have played in every national championship game and have won four out of five of them. There are many reasons for their success: Leipold, facilities, good players and coaches, of course. But they also have a mantra -- "Pound the Rock" -- that tells something of their mindset.
